1.
Check the
insurance policy thoroughly. The courts
have ruled this is a public responsibility.
If it has been destroyed, your insurance company can provide you with
another copy. The key is "IS IT
REASONABLE." If not, then…

Call Insurance
Company (not your agent)
Talk
to as many supervisors as necessary.
Write
a letter to the President of your insurance company.
Threaten
at each step to go the state Insurance Commissioner. Many companies know it may be cheaper to
settle your claim than face fines. Then
ACT on your threat (if necessary)…
